Just like Christmas!
I have never seen a child more happy to receive a package full of clothing then my Sweet Lu. I think she would rather have new clothes (and shoes) then toys. Thank you Grandma Pam for all the new things.
When a box arrives:
First you unload everything and lay it out all over the floor.
Second, you look to Mommy to make sure what you have done is ok
Next you choose your favorite outfit
Then you find someone willing to help you put it on. Which may also include a lot of struggling and screaming. A models life is filled with sacrifice.
Last, but not not least, you show off your new clothes. A beautiful two piece set by Carters in a wonderful Spring yellow.
And you pick out your next outfit to do it all over again.

How precious is the life we are given!
I just heard this song today and after the song heard the news
that his daughter died in a tragic accident last week.
I have always been a big fan of his and was greatly saddened
by the news. It made me think that not only will our
children grow up fast but that only God knows how
much time we will have with them. He may want them
with him sooner then we would ever imagine.
Today I hugged all three of my children a little longer
and a little tighter. How precious are these lives we
have been given for just a little while. Enjoy every
moment, even the bad and chaotic ones, because I
am sure every one of us will miss even those hard
times when our babies grow up and are gone
from our homes to start lives of their own.

Happy Father's Day
Yes, we celebrated Father's Day early this year. Not because we don't have a calendar or anything like that but Daddy will be gone this year. Many of you already know but for those who don't, he will be flying to California this Friday to join a media team who will be covering a bicycle event called The Race Across America. They bike from Oceanside California to Maryland. Aaron will be doing the writing and blogging on their website. You can check it out at The Race Across America for all the interesting facts and to see Aaron's blogging (He will start writing the 7th of June when the teams leave California).
We let the kids pick out Father's and Mother's day gifts by themselves (with a little shepherding in the appropriate direction). Jackson chose Indiana Jones Legos. A fun thing for both of them to do together.
Lucy gave Daddy a new cast iron frying pan (he really did make a request for one) but all she wanted to do was play with the musical card.
Kisses from Jordyn. She gave him a new wallet and 2 cds he had been wanting.
