One Puppy Was Not Enough SO.....

As you can see I am just kidding! To make potty training the puppy easier, I purchased a dog door. I think I actually made my life harder
I gave Lucy a fool-proof way to escape!!!!!!

Our Second Anniversary

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary on the 9th of July and Aaron surprised everyone with a night at the beach. He rented a house with beach access and it was a blast. The house was three stories and the kids loved the crows nest. Why spend our anniversary with the kids you may ask? Well as Aaron explained to the kids when they wondered why we were celebrating, it is the anniversary of our family. We became an instant family of four. By our first anniversary we were five, Now as we celebrated our 2nd anniversary we are soon to be six. So to us the anniversary is a time to celebrate not only our love for each other but also the love of family. Here are a couple shots of Lucy at the beach and a slide show of our trip. ENJOY!

Lucy had a hard time trying to walk in the wind with the blowing sand but she did not want to be carried.

The house in the background is similar to the one we stayed in. Ours was just off the beach.

Here is an update on the garden. Things really took off with the warmer weather.
Seems like I got everything planted at just the right time this year. The work
involved in keeping up with the garden has given me a new appreciation for
all the time and effort Mom put into it when we were kids. she had 4 little ones
running around and still planted, watered, fertilized, weeded, canned and froze
so we would have a winter stockpile. thanks for all the hard work. I can't wait to
share some of the harvest.

Grampy's Girl

We recently went out to Mexican food and Lucy decided to sample the salsa even after being told it was hot. She just couldn't resist the urge to dip and sample. Takes after her her Grandpa George.
Not too bad.
Humm, this has a little bite.
Hurry, give me some water! My poor tongue is on fire.
