Field Trip

We braved the torrential downpours and took our annual trip to the lamb barns. We usually go with at least one of my sisters but this year we went alone. I think the sheep were grateful. Get a bunch of excited boys together in a new place and they seem to move even faster and talk even louder and possibly try to show off a bit. So we decided to keep things on the low this year. We got to witness the birth of 2 sets of twins last year. Not as lucky this year but I think the kids enjoyed it more. There were so many lambs already born and they were so cute.

Jackson thought this was a lot of babies for one mama. Grandma caller her the "Octomom".
"Hey, not my Bugles!"
"CAN'T SEE!"
Soft lammy noses

Jordyn thought she had found a friendly one. Right after I took the picture it head butted her. She jumped about 4 feet backwards. What if that fence had not been there?
Going to check out the other end of the barn
Jackson tried so hard to entice them all with his bugles, not really intending to share. He did finally get to touch one and was thrilled when it sucked on his fingers.
"WHAT'S THAT BIG DOGGIE!?"
"IT Scares ME!"

I take it they took down the "no petting" signs?

Hopefully we are going to make it tomorrow.

I'm e-mailing the OSU lamb barns and submitting these photos. Maybe you'll make the "what not to let your kids do" list.

LOL.

I love you sister.
